Bunnies - Got Bunny!

danaerisPicked up Furley at the airport. It was nice seeing him. A little awkward, but what d'ya expect when you haven't seen the person since last June? Still, I enjoyed spending time with him even though Burdick's disappeared and I couldn't find it and he must have thought I was a ditz because I had trouble finding the crepe place as well. :( No Burdick's for me.
I had trouble telling him that I'm Pagan. No, rephrase. I didn't have trouble---I didn't tell him at all. I did tell him that I'd realized that Judaism spiritually wasn't the right path for me, but that I was seeking spirituality because it is good stuff and important to me. I didn't for some reason have the guts to bring it up. If I can't tell a friend I met on the Israel trip, how can I tell my family? Quite easily, probably. Determination is what it is all about. I didn't care about telling Furley so I didn't pass that barrier. Maybe I will with my parents when the time comes.
Then we went to Fanueil Hall because his friends were meeting him there, and hung out. I ate ice cream, and then we went to the Discovery Store. Apparently, when Furley was in Australia last term, he went to the Crocodile Hunter's zoo. He said it was funny/crazy there. :)
Anyway, in the Discovery Store, I found a bunny. A beautiful, happy looking, exceptionally soft and cuddly, adorable bunny. For only $18! (it was 30% off)
I'd been wanting a stuffed animal for a while. Now I have one. *contentment*
There may yet be Burdick's for me. Zebediah and I are going BACK to Hahvahd Square together to eat dinner at Pho Pasteur's, and then afterwards if there's time before the play at MIT, we could potentially stop at Burdick's. Wee!
On the down side, still sick (not the flu; I shook that off. This is a cold). Still confused. Still mildly angsty. But right now, at least, pretty happy.
