I was amazed just now to realize that I can forgive myself, that I don't need someone else to judge me not guilty. I can look at what happened and say, "Its ok. What you did made sense at the time. Maybe next time you'll do things differently... but for now, you're innocent."
Yeah, laugh if you will. Innocent. Ha!
OK, so I am not good at absolving myself. I don't feel absolved. And when I wrong someone else... well, they deserve a chance to forgive me. If that makes any sense. But I find it amusing that I was surprised to realize that I can do this. My issues make me unique and special, just like a snowflake... Special in the short-bus kinda way!
