scheduling a basewarming/babbling

Hey folks, I'm looking at scheduling MoonBase Folsom's BaseWarming sometime in August on a Saturday.

Either the 9th, 16th, or 23rd. Can people give me reasons why these conflict with things and what they conflict with?

I'm guessing the latter would conflict with Burning Man...

GREAT weekend.
Thursday was great; more in the overshare friends list about it later if I get around to it.
Friday we lounged around and then went to see Charlies Angels 2. It was fun, but really, um, special.
Saturday we got up, stopped at Target where I fell in love with this comforter but I was good and didn't buy it. It is a soft soft fabric and kinda a two-toned shiny lavendar and indigo blue. I want it and a matching bedskirt, and then blue and purple bed sheets. But it is more money than I want to spend right now. Anyone have advice on good places to shop for affordable nifty bedding?
Then we proceeded to Disaster House, where the fabulous angelbob and bk2w were hosting a kickin' geek party. Had a TOTAL blast, SO worth the drive to Fremont. And I got to see fyfer and plymouth, which were total bonuses. yay!
Sunday I hosted another fabulous LWB, then we did dinner at Brainwash, and I caught a ride with tgeller and his lovely lady to check out 1muse and warpanda's new place. We hung out and chatted, and then I walked home via whirly gig where a number of great people were doing the whirly thing! Finally I went home and had some good chat time with a number of people.

This morning I tried to go into the city clinic before work to do something about my birth control situation, but it was a 2-3 hour wait. So instead I made an appointment for Thursday morning bright and early.

Very glad you could show up. I have to say I was surprised to see, since our social circles had just barely intersected months back. But really glad they've started to reintersect again. And you're definitely cool people we'd like to have attending.

As for when to have housewarming? I'm voting not the 9th, since DH will be having another party then. <brainwash>And you know you want to attend.</brainwash>

Yikes, I am such a dingbat...I meant to reply to this much earlier but got caught up with other stuff. If you haven't set the basewarming yet, pls don't set it for the 16th? auros and I were talking about getting some friends (you included) together, possibly that night.

If you have it on the 9th, I won't be able to come, because I'm having a party of my own that day. And you can't have it the 16th, because there's also a party that day, to which you and Richard are invited. I just need to finish polishing the invitation and send it out. Will probably get that done tomorrow night. :-)
