Heat wave survival part II
Jun. 26th, 2003 04:34 pmSo I've done three chapters, and got some more work done on my Pride costume. Now I just need to hop in the shower, clean off the sweat/cool down, and head to the Castro to get some shopping done.
My plans for that are:
(1) A water bottle full of ice water
(2) Skimpy breezy clothing
(3) Wet hair/freshly showered
In the meantime, my basic pride costume just needs a little more stitching to be ready to go! Then I can start making collars and arm bands, but I haven't figured out how I would design those, so I'm glad its not time to start work on that yet. I'm going to look rawking!
I stitched the bottom properly instead of using glue, and I have to say it looks vastly better than the top came out. But part of that isn't just the use of glue, but also the shape of the top, which I suspect would need darts or some more complex sewing foo to make work (because breasts are round. heheh. heh.)
Off I go! Still hot, sweaty and naked...
