Boston folk...

I have these 8 boxes foley is holding for me. He can either ship them to me at unfortunately large expense to me, or I can find someone to take them by the end of July.

I am looking for:
- a person who can store 8 small xerox boxes temporarily
and
- people who are moving here who might have room in their van/truck/trailer for an extra 8 boxes
or
- people who are visiting here soon who might be able to toss a box or two in as part of their luggage allowance.

This is just off the top of my newly-woken-up-not-yet-had-coffee head.
Aaron, Jesse's friend, is going to Santa Fe very soonly.
He's in Boston.
It's halfway closer.
I've not talked to either of them.
But, if Jesse or Megan come out this way, or something (which Megan might be, on her way to Seattle), it's a thought.
Other thing is that the entire household is moving within a few months, and you wouldn't want stuff to get misplaced.

Um, I don't know how functional Amtrak is these days, but you might want to try shipping them that way. It's by far the cheapest way to ship coast-to-coast so long as it's not fragile, and then you'd just need to get someone to take you to Oakland to pick them up in two weeks, when they'd arrive. That's how we got all of our books and stuff out here when we moved, although that was back in 1995, so things may have changed.

Offer still stands, I still also have east coast stuff that needs moving, if you end up getting a truck together I would be up for sharing it.

Getting a bit more pressing for me b/c my mom is selling the house I grew up in. :(
