So there's a nifty job fair for newspapers in Santa Rosa next Thursday. I'm kind of torn.

On one hand, I really want to write for a magazine, not a newspaper. On the other hand, maybe one of these newspapers will need a science reporter or editor. I could imagine liking that a good bit. It's a big maybe.

It's next Thursday, May 15th, 1:30-4:30 in Santa Rosa. If anyone would be willing and able to drive me to it, I'd be eternally grateful. I still have to get the time off from my current internship, maybe switch from Thursday to Wednesday, or something.

Any volunteers?

Hell, I have to head up to Novato to work anyway, and Santa Rosa's only another 45 minutes north. I'd be willing to give you a ride up, but I head out for work at 7am. Then I'm up that way Thursday evenings anyway for the open meetings my coven holds in a cafe up there, so it'd be easy to pick you up again too. You'd just have the morning to figure out something to do, and a few hours in the early evening. Granted, that kills a whole day; I'm not sure what your schedule is or if that works.

I know you could take the Golden Gate Transit bus 80 up to Santa Rosa fairly easily, and its route starts close to you. It would be a two hour ride or so, but means you wouldn't have to get up bloody early if you wanted a ride up with me. And if you have a few hours to hang out before I get up there in the evening, I'd be happy to give you a ride home (though I'll want to swing by the cafe for at least a half hour to hang out for a bit---and you'd get to meet some of my wacky north bay pagan friends).

Let me know if you want a ride up, a ride back, or both, if any of those are convenient for you.
