I made the mistake of mentioning the existence of the Asatru religion in front of my brother and father and they have spent the last 15, 20 minutes bashing the concept of a reconstructionist norse religion, with a few choice insults thrown at Wicca.

Oh god, now they're going on about how women who dress in revealing clothing deserve to be hit upon, citing a comedian who says that he should dress as a policeman and then get pissed off when people expect him to be a policeman.
