Good news!
Feb. 20th, 2007 04:28 pm(1) I got into Ryerson, and they've offered me a 4K scholarship for the 2007/2008 school year. Yay! Tuition comes to about 2K per term, and I'm not sure if I'm supposed to pay for tuition in the summer... I should hope not. Which means that it covers my tuition and I just need to worry about my living expenses. Hopefully, my second year, I will get the 20K scholarship and be all set. :)
(2) Today I informed my work that I was going on sick leave indefinitely.
None of this has really sunk in yet. I'm kind of numb. Moments of squeeness and happiness are happening, but mostly none of it seems real. But the idea that I won't have to go back to work, and the idea that I know for sure that I can go to school in September, is a huge relief.
Tonight I will take a serious look at Carleton and decide if I want to bother applying. Their applications are due March 1, and Ryerson wants an answer by March 2. If I finish my application today/tomorrow and courier it over, I could ask for a response asap... but I'm not sure it's worth all that + the application fee.
So, we'll see.
Yay!
Until I've calmed down from the excitement, I'll be at Arcadia getting my head on straight, and then I'll be back at Elysium getting my life there in order. The roommate interviews will hopefully begin this weekend.
