Today I'm 26.
Today I got what may be the first card I've ever gotten from my parents that made me feel ... well, anything.
Usually they seem to wind up with very generic cards, or funny cards. Likely spoken from their hearts, with all the right sentiments, but nonetheless, generic.
What they sent me today was a Hallmark ecard. The card is animated, and it contained messages like, "Be yourself," "Trust your gut," "Be sassy," "Be unique," etc. It stressed individuality and independence and positive aggressive behaviour. It resonated. You can see it here, but you'll have to skip the ad.
Anyway. Good morning all! I'm back at work, and only mildly nauseous. Still unclear what the mysterious nausea is, but if it persists, I will probably start doing experiments with the food I eat to see what kind of impact that has.
Yay for ten hour work days on your birthday!
