So, TTC may be striking again tomorrow.

I was going to ride to and from work 7-5 p.m. (logging two extra hours work) with Will, so I wasn't going to USE TTC.

However, last Monday someone pointed out that if I show up when TTC is striking, work will think that I can ALWAYS show up when work is striking (which I can't). It's arguably a bad precedent to set.

I could telecommute. I'm not supposed to be allowed to do that anymore, but if they think I have no way of getting to work (and my work is COMPLETELY inaccessible with no TTC and no car), they have no choice if they want work done, and the work I do on Mondays is absolutely crucial and time sensitive (and they know that).

What's wrong with telecommuting?
(1) There are some files on my computer I'd have to get them to email me, and I'm not sure I remember the filename of some of them.
(2) Last Monday when I telecommuted, I wrote myself down as having logged an extra two hours just like I'd planned originally. I was going to work an extra two hours this time too. I don't know if I can get away with this!
(3) I have a fuckload of work I need to do, and it might even be easier to be productive at work. But then, I have a lot of work to do of my own, and I'd be able to do more of my OWN work from "home."

Any thoughts, advice, etc.?
