I'm working on my presentation for 9ICB, in which I go over how the scientific process works in modern day society.

I was hoping some people with more scientific experience/training on here might be willing to review the section on science and give me feedback on anything in it that is erroneous.

Media as well

I'm also going to be writing something on the process an article goes through in order to get written and published. I'd love to have a few more media folks to glance over that section and comment on it.

Legal and sociological stuff as well

[livejournal.com profile] rbowspryte is working on this part of the presentation, but while I'm at it, I might as well ask: Is anyone on here qualified to comment on the legal or medical rights of queer or trans people as impacted by scientific research? What about the societal impact (sociological experts)?

Thanks!

Today has been just about perfect. I cleaned a little, did self-care a little, ate well, had sex, had fun, watched some Utena, got work done, exercised, and even balanced my budget.

Way too much detail about my day )

Tomorrow, Dim Sum, picking my glasses, XMen 3 while the glasses order is filled, picking them up, and then a photo shoot. After that, I will head back to Arcadia where I'll do more work on stuff on my laptop.

Next week, Tuesday is working my butt off, Wednesday is the CSWA pub night, and Thursday night is the XTRA party. Friday and Sunday are unbooked but Saturday I have a birthday party/BBQ to go to. Monday, the social, Tuesday, tying up any loose ends for 9ICB, Wednesday, [livejournal.com profile] inki arrives in town, and Thursday-Sunday is 9ICB/Gaylaxicon/a wedding.

Busy busy, but happy and productive! The best combinations. :)
