May. 9th, 2005 07:39 pmI stayed home sick today, and actually spent the majority of the day sleeping. So, I didn't even work from home.
I feel almost human upon this particular waking. Sure, my nose is still an eternal effluvience of phlegm, and I'm overcome by the occasional coughing fit, and my head feels like it is packed with sawdust. But my body isn't aching nearly as much, and the amount of supposed sawdust in my head has decreased by half if not more.
Over the few hours I've spent awake over the past few days, I've been using the web site http://www.fueleconomy.gov to get an idea of what cars I might be interested in which would represent an improvement over
pyat's car, which gets about 27 mpg on the highway.
Once I have all of that information noted, I'll have to cross-reference with prices and reviews. woohoo.
