Once you've ripped a cd you own to mp3, anyone have any good, compelling reasons to keep the physical CD?

I'm trying to decide if I should ship the CDs I own, or ditch them. I'm certainly leaning towards ditching the CD cases in favor of a "book," at least.

Packing proceeds. Don't know what else to say... Hard to believe that it is only a little over a week before I'll be leaving the country, and moving back... home.

I have this original piece of art with a custom fit glass "frame."

The box I'd been intending to pack it in is just long enough, and sufficiently wide, and amply thick.

I can wrap it in bubble wrap and fill the rest of the box with paper goods and styrofoam peanuts. This will provide tons of padding above and below it, and enough on either side, but at the top and bottom there would be no padding beyond that provided by the cardboard box.

Is this likely to do the trick being shipped over ground from here to Buffalo? If it broke, how expensive is it to frame a non-standard sized piece of art?

I'm about to apply for a job as editorial assistant at a small kid oriented publisher in Toronto. They are accepting cover letters and resumes via both email and fax. Anyone have an opinion on which medium is more effective/more likely to get me noticed and read?

They posted the job on Dec. 16 and applications are due January 10.

Stayed up late again last night. Stupid. But got lots more packing done. I'm awake now, but I kinda feel like I'm falling asleep. Rolling over and doing so again is so tempting... But I should shower, clean dishes, and do more packing. *sigh*
