electronic foo -- Treo Charger

So, when I plug my treo into the charger's connector, it no longer notices. It doesn't start charging. Sometimes if I jog the wire oddly it does notice, which is why the thing is still running.

I've been unable to determine where the problem is, except that it is definitely either the charger or the phone itself -- not the power outlet.

I'm hoping that the metal contacts simply have something on them, and that if I clean them, it'll start working again. What should I clean it with?

Also, princeofwands and/or other Treo users, if you're over here and I'm still having problems, or if I go to S&P tomorrow, may I test further using your charger/phone to determine if it is the charger or the phone?
