Anyone know how to go about switching sections? How likely is it for openings to occur in the first week or so of classes?

Costume making

So I'm making myself a RavenClaw cheerleader's uniform, or trying to. But most fabric stores close earlier than I can get to easily, and Discount Outlet was closed on Sunday. :(

I have three options: I can give up, I can do the fabric shopping on Saturday before the party and then have four days to make the entire costume, or I can try to make it to Bri-Tex before it closes on a weekday (since it is in SoMa, or so I here). I work at 3rd and Bryant and live at 7th and Folsom. Anyone have any brilliant suggestions?

iBook Battery Life

So, I've had my iBook for about a year, and I swear, the battery life has decreased.

Anyone else have this happen to them? I just don't believe that my laptop used to run out of batteries this fast.
