Bay Area Poly announcement list

Hi folks. So in order to have a venue to have regular announcements for my Love Without Bounds social, I've had an e-mail list created. It is an announcement only list with very specific rules. I am the moderator and the only person who can post to it, but it is open to announcements of other events.

Yesterday I re-arranged the living room; it looks much better now. yay.
Today I:
-Bought sign making materials
-Got the LWB list up and running (if you haven't received a welcome email yet, you need to subscribe yourself at this point).
-mopped the floor. It still has some scary scuff marks and spots, but it overall looks much better than before. w00t.

I also subscribed to sfbay-poly@polyamory.org and sfbay-poly-events@polyamory.org. Who knew they existed? I sure didn't. But that works great for me; it means I can focus on making LWB a functional social without worrying about the 'greater poly community.' If I decide it doesn't have enough attendees I can always advertise it on the larger list.

Of course, the fact that I wasn't aware of the list has made me aware of how sorely a central web page is needed as a resource to the bay area poly community. But I don't even have my OWN web page yet, so one step at a time.

Tonight I will make nifty signs and work on my bedroom a little bit. I probably won't be going to BaGG.
