In other news...
Oct. 1st, 2002 03:26 pm(1) There's two dressers, a bookcase, and a metal bed frame I can get in the Mission for $100 even, all from the same place. All painted black. The frame is just to support the bottom of the bed.
Pros: All in one. Stop stressing about lack of furniture.
Cons: Not very pretty probably, and I could probably get it for cheaper if I'm patient.
Opinions?
(2) Full time job being advertised by a college textbook publishing company for an entry level editorial assistant. I applied. Haven't heard back, and they took the ad off craigslist, but that might just mean that they had enough responses. I was going to do a follow up phone call today, too, but their ad is gone so I can't. :(
(3) Full time 4 month internship at Wired Magazine. November 1st (when my internship here ends!). $10/hour. Great experience. I will apply to this; application deadline is October 15. OK, so I'd have to live like a grad student, but how Bitching would that look on my resume? And I'd have security for four whole months. "Security"... I'd have ~$400 spending money per month, so I'd have to either get a part time job or cook a lot more of my meals. A part time job at a neat place, or teaching skating, would be welcome though. As long as I like it.
Things don't look bad at all...
opinions on job stuff or the furniture? I think I'll at least go look at the furniture tonight.
