Status update

Itchiness:
Since I started moisturizing, except for the occasional twinge here and there, and where there are actually hives, the itching has gotten monumentally better. Yay! Oh, and my current housemates think Alex was on crack. They never saw any fleas on the cat, even when Alex was standing there pointing them out to them.

Housing:
We found someone who DEFINITELY wants to move in. He said that if we made an offer, he would accept.
He's 40, publicly vanilla, privately into BDSM and all that fun stuff. Het. In a waning relationship that may pick up or may still be over. Paying for October even though he can't move out of his current place until November 1st. He comes with furniture and financial stability. And all three of us liked him better than our current prospects.

Carpool:
Carpooled with someone new today. She was nice and seemed to not mind driving me at all. Yay!

I can't believe this.

Dana turned us down.

After telling us yesterday that if we offered it to him, he would say yes, he has turned us down. That's NOT FAIR.

If anyone knows ANYONE looking for housing, please refer them to me! It's WAY too late to be in this situation! I think we'll be handing out flyers at Folsom or something.

I should be stressed. I think I'm just beyond caring or something. It doesn't seem real.

I'm hungry. Salad isn't that filling, but that's dieting for you.
I'm twitchy. I feel like I'm going to try to bang my head againts the wall while simultaneously climbing it.

Two potential housemate prospects have showed up. Both of them are problematic financially---ie. one of them wants to move in November 1st (which would require us to suck up a month's rent), and the other might have no money for food for the first half of the month if he paid all of the deposit and rent.
They're both cool---they came off sfpolygoth, which is a recommendation right there. But logistically, they are unfortunately both last resorts, I think. One of them is someone I met at a housewarming party. He seemed neat. Unseelie knows him.
The other is someone I don't know. Also seems neat.

Everyone's busy with Folsom this weekend. phooey.
