Verizon-even fishier
Apr. 24th, 2003 09:33 amSo I called Verizon today. According to them, I used 610 peak time minutes between March 4 and April 3rd. I don't believe them, so they are sending me a complete listing of all of my calls.
Since April 4th, I have used 375 peak time minutes. I'm already 75 over. So I'm not using my cell phone anymore until May 3rd during the day (6 a.m.-9 p.m.). If you need to contact me and it is an emergency, well, if you're the kind of person who has emergencies related to me you probably have my work phone number for the internship. You can leave a message on my phone or you can try calling me at my home phone number or you can email me. Email me for my contact info.
Starting next month I am upgraded to a new calling plan. 500 peak time minutes, unlimited nights and weekends, and 1000 mobile-to-mobile minutes for $50/month + tax.
Before I was paying $35/month + tax for 300 peak time minutes and 4000 night and weekend minutes. I think that this is definitely a win. And if I decided to upgrade, I can always upgrade to even more minutes some other time.
Slept well last night if slightly less than I'd like. Feeling a lot better. Spoke with the HEM editor; all is quite well. She wants the article back to her by Monday. I'm still faced with the problem of calling the people in question and getting the necessary info out of them for the articles when I can't call on my cellphone anymore and they are long distance and I'm at work during business hours R&F, but I can make that work I may just have to accrue more minutes on my cellphone. Suck it up and deal.
So yeah. All is well with the world. Mostly, anyway.
