If you are a Canadian citizen, get off your lazy ass and vote today. Err, the today that starts in about an hour. Tuesday. You know what I mean.

If you are a US citizen living abroad, get off your lazy ass and register to vote before it's too late.

If you are a US citizen living in the US, get off your lazy ass and campaign, or donate money, or maybe write a blog post whingeing about how much you hate the fucking Republicans and you might move to Canada if McPalin get "elected." Okay, maybe not that last one. Anyway, get engaged, or at least vote when the election comes around.

Voting is good for you. If you vote, you will be stronger and healthier. Also, sexier. Beautiful, brilliant men and women will fall over themselves to get with you. You may also become rich, and you will immediately gain several IQ points. If you want children, it will bring you many healthy kids, and if you don't, it will make you sterile.

Voting will make your life better. It may not solve all of your problems, but it solves the most annoying ones. That's why you should vote.

I see it as a tad simpler than that. If someone choses to talk politics with me, I ask if they voted in the last election. If they did, great, we can talk. If not, nothing they say has any interest for me. If they spoiled their ballot, they may participate only in pig latin, and I will reply in baby talk.
