it's more hope than plan. And the line between parents and uncle/anuty figures gets kind of blurred - i hope to be somewhere in there with my meta-babys ...

We wanted one, got zero. Had we managed, we'd have raised a kid with two parental figures and about 10 aunties of all genders.

i picked one child, but am open to two depending on circumstances. we plan to adopt. also, at this point there's just the two of us, but i'm open to the idea of a third, if we ever meet the right person. i think it'd be good for a child to have three parents.

I needed the .5 option to the first question. I'm not convinced I'm having children; if I did, there would be only one.

I'm getting the impression that this isn't common among your friends, but there should be fractions in the second question---lots of families have more kids than parents.
Certainly any kids I have will only have two parent-figures, and it's possible I'd have more than two kids...
