So I'm exploring the possibility of getting an LJ client.

OS X preferred, but online clients could be helpful too.

The ideal client would so some or all of the following:
-post to LJ and blogger
-allow me to access more than one LJ account
-allow me to edit friends groups and friends
-allow me to post only to my custom friends groups
-and, icing on the cake would include the ability to post pictures etc. (hard code would be fine)

If you ignore the need to post to blogger, Xjournal (part of the ljkit project) does everything that you want, it's what i use.

Also - the lj clients page lists a few other client possibilities.

Finally, the Flock browser has, among other things, an integrated posting client that understands both livejournal and blogger. Not sure if it has friends list editing or not.

XJournal stopped working properly for me some time back. I use iJournal hese days.

I don't know of any clients that support both LJ and Blogger. (I know a few people who hacked up their own gateways.)
