Smartphones
Apr. 11th, 2008 08:48 pmSo, I tried a normal cellphone. Hated it, or at least, found it frustrating. I miss the full keyboard and the intuitive interface of the Treo. I also miss the option of all the third-party software you can get cheap for Palm.
Any thoughts on the Treo 650 vs. 680, or recommendations of other smartphones that would have affordable third-party software available, a full or almost full keyboard, and be compatible with a Mac?

Date: 2008-04-11 08:15 pm (UTC)i paid $260 on ebay for my unlocked 680.
any palm or windows mobile phone will work with a mac if you're willing to spring $40 for missing sync. palm's don't /need/ it, but it adds lots of functionality. i wouldn't really recommend windows mobile. it's kinda balls.

The iPhone really rocks. You should check it out.
And of course, it works wonderfully with a Mac.
