Bridesmaid dresses

OK, as some of you may know, I'm going to be a bridesmaid in lady_sodayah's and coraon's wedding in mid-August.

I WAS going to wander the dress shops in about three different countries and see what popped up, but I think I may have already made my decision after all.

See, David's Bridal in the US makes dresses in my size. Better yet, they make mix and match in my size. Which means that I would get a LOT more use out of the purchase afterwards. The floor length skirt could be worn with my corsets, and the top could be worn with a shorter skirt to a lot more events than a gown could be worn.

See behind the cut to see the skirt/tops I'm looking at. My favourite combo is going to be about $180. Considering that the gowns at Laura's that fit the requirements for the bridesmaid dresses and are in my size cost about $300, I'm guessing that this is the best plan. And I really like the flexibility of the mix and match plan.

I really like options 1 and 2, I think 3 might end up hurting your kneck by the end of the night, I know it would mine.

But what ever you choose you will be beautiful in.

I like option 1 on you personally, but thats only because I think no one on the planet pulls off the option 2 top quite like steph, and if you have seen her in her corset I think you would agree.

that top is cut higher than my corset dear... it's not designed to display ones assets quite like a sweetheart corset does...

I personally think strapless is hard to pull off and that most strapless dresses look bad on most people (including the Hollywood types you see on TV...) I think option 1 would look a lot better on you than option 3.

I think the first one is probably the most attractive, though I'd never convince myself to leave the house with that low a neckline. I think you'll look lovely, and the skirt is fun!
