MMP: Vote yes

So I've done a lot of research over the last few days regarding MMP and its advertisement.

My conclusion, after lots of reading, is that MMP is, while not perfect, by far a better system than what we've got.

I'd like to invite you all to ask me questions about the system. Where I know the answers, I will do my best to answer.

But, if you trust me enough to vote based on my opinion (ha!) I advise you to vote yes. :)

Had a mix of awesomeness and mediocreness this past weekend. I had a great birthday, got to see many of my friends hang out, and got some nice presents. But I didn't get as much work done as I would have liked. Now I get to pay the price by scrambling today to write this news story and get data entry done for today and get readings done for tomorrow. Wee! At least I'm not behind on the story itself.

I'm not sure there is a perfect system. But, that was my conclusion as well -- MMP is a much better choice than our current first-past-the-post system. I'm hoping this goes through in Ontario, works well, then gets looked at or adopted federally, too.

I think I've got a good picture of what it is, but I'm still torn about which way to vote. There are strong arguments on both sides. I'd be interested in what some of the deciding factors were for you.
