I'm back safe and sound. Parts of the week away were awesome. Other parts were incredibly difficult. It was a great opportunity for growth and introspection.

Unfortunately, I seem to have come down with something; I suspect that my immune system is quite compromised from eating like crap all week. My lymph nodes are swollen and sore, my throat hurts a bit, and I'm nauseous.

Last night I skimmed the LJ posts I've missed. If there was something in particular you wanted me to read and respond to, please let me know so that I can revisit it.

I also plan to respond to all the kind people who have emailed me or commented on some of my more anguished posts, and I guess to post about the perspective I've gained over the last week or so.

So what now?

Ryerson
-Sign the signature page and walk it and my divorce decree into the finaid office at Ryerson
-Check out the GA/TA page regularly
-Continue to apply to positions that may be appropriate work during the school year

Mental Health
-Email the learning disabilities people at Ryerson to make an appointment
-Work on my social issues in therapy (fear of judgement, difficulty coping with disagreement, being judgemental)
-Work on my sexual issues in therapy
-Take my pills at the same time every day

Physical Health
-Get myself on a sleep schedule that makes it possible to test the effect of nap therapy on my alertness while working
-Eat small but frequent protein heavy meals with good healthy carbs
-Consider organizing a weekly Insulin Resistant dinner group that rotates location/chef or perhaps works as a potluck
-Continue going to my dance classes, including the lindy hop
-Try making it to a pool or rollerblading once or twice a week

Finances/Career
-submit EI report
-work on xtra story
-work on math story
-work on headset story

Home
-fix sofa covers
-wipe down kitchen table
-clean floor in my room
-talk about new apartment (we are moving into a three bedroom in October in the same building)
-figure out what I'm doing about furniture, workstation, etc.

BENT
-send list of things we should still have to blackorchid
-register
-Friday, get the total registrants
-use that to send PolyWolf a list of how much of what to buy

PolyCamp
-update the hotel info on the website
-email presenters about their needs in terms of equipment, space, and time
-compose a confirmation email to send to people who have registered
-send the confirmation email to people who have registered
-nudge people who have said they are coming but have not registered
(delegated)
-assemble a registration package including revised directions
-look at schedule from PolyCamp NW, among other events, and try to get a better idea of our schedule
-delegate a buttload of stuff to someone else. yay!

TorontoPoly
-use comments to revamp statement of purpose and send to steering committee
-forward request for interviewees to events list

So, lots on my plate. Plus socializing, of course. Hopefully the sick will blow over soon and I'll feel better.

I do feel better now that I've had some water, some OJ, and some scrambled egg whites. But I'm definitely still under the weather.
