I often have dreams in which I am a man. In those dreams I usually don't find this remarkable. In fact, often I'm not even aware that I'm not normally a man.

I also find that I am usually romantically or sexually involved with woman when I dream I'm a man.

I'm told that viewing being the opposite gender as normal is unusual. I'm curious to see how unusual it actually is.

I skipped the last one because none of the dreams where I've been male have been sexual dreams. (In at least one I don't think I even had genetalia. I was an amulatory tree stump, but I somehow knew I was male, and this all seemed perfectly natural.)

The only time I've really been confused by anyone's gender in my dreams involved a threesome on my bathroom floor with Captain Sisko and Major Kira from Deep Space Nine. I was surprised to make the discovery that Kira wasn't so female under the uniform. (But more surprised that I was interested in her at all, since she's too scrawny for my concious mind to appreciate.)

If I have a gender in dreams, I don't know about it. I'm neutral, or female and just don't pay attention. And I don't remember when I last had a dream where I was attracted to someone.

Same. Unless I'm actively engaging in a sex act, I never notice if I even have a gender in my dreams. Of course, I don't really believe in gender...

I think my own gender identity is too complicated to usefully answer your survey, but I totally dream of being all kinds of genders, and having it be normal (or sometimes strange, but mostly normal)

It's weird that I've never thought about it before, but I don't think I have a gender in dreams. This seems particularly bizarre to me since I'm both cognizant of gender and rather gender-flexible in waking hours.

Sometimes I am male in dreams and this still disturbs me slightly (only after I wake). Mostly I am female or hermaphrodite/intersexed (which I feel is my own natural gender and is also my biological gender..other sort of but no less female just female + something else).

Other time I am neuter and don't seem to have gender.

I sometimes dream I am in a multi-gendered state that is in flux. These dreams that focus on gender this way are mostly sexual and involve my ever changing form or changing genitals in which I start out being penetrated and change into penetrating and back. The forms move easily from one to another so the transitions are smooth. I often have breasts in any form, sometimes those breasts become something else more penile. Sometimes even my mouth and tongue become sexual orafices and organs in a penile fashion.

It's a good dream that was disturbing at first but I now like having. It's not aggressive it's more soft like "blending" but without the loss of self. Usually the other person is not anyone recognizable they are like me perhaps faerie, perhaps other always a morphing hermaphrodite.

I hardly remember any dreams - all most to the point of none. Otherwise I'd do your poll.

I started to answer this and realized that I can't answer the 3rd question because the answer I'd give isn't there. I rarely ever have dreams in which my gender changes. When I do, sometimes I notice and sometimes I don't. As for attraction, it varies a lot. Sometimes I'm attracted to the opposite gender, sometimes the same, sometimes both. Just like most dreams for me, everything varies rather than it being a pattern.

One of the things I've always found interesting is that for me, dreams rarely ever remain on a theme. I almost never have the same experience from a dream twice and when I do, it's usually remarkable enough for me to think it means something significant and is trying to tell me something important.

I find dreams fascinating and can usually interpret the dreams of myself and others to some extent with a fair bit of accuracy, but I haven't done so in a long time.

Couldn't answer the last question because I don't remember enough of those dreams to know anything except that I'm either straight or bi in them.

I may be weird. I get "rerun" dreams sometimes - sometimes the rerun is exact (as in I know exactly what's going to happen) and other times details start to stray from the original.

I've had dreams in which I was of indeterminate gender (kind of asexual/agendered) and dreams in which I was myself in my current form. I've also had dreams in which I was someone else of the same gender, or someone else of a different gender. On occasion, I've been "myself" of a different gender.

Yes, I've had heterosexual sex in dreams while being a member of the "other" gender than I am normally. And enjoyed it :) And sometimes awoken with a kind of "wet dream" result. :) :)
