Torontoist.com is looking for bloggers and a copy editor. They probably pay utter crap. Any opinions on how good or bad they are, how worth writing for they are, etc.?
What are your specialties, hun? I come across a few positions every once in a while in things ranging from Mac-based artwork development to other various skills, but I'm not sure what you're looking for.
I'm a writer/editor specializing in science, technology, and sexuality.
I'm not really eager to find work -- I'm only job searching because I'm required to in order to receive EI. I start school full time in just over two months, so most jobs won't be interested in me. Besides, I'd rather decrease the burden I am on the system by doing freelance journalism than by getting a crappy job that IS willing to take me for just two months (which EI does not expect of me).
Ah I see. The almighty Employment Insurance, and yes, one could stand to have a little less stress during schooltime. Freelance journalism would suit you well then.
