This list will be low volume, as only the administrators can send messages to it. It will be used for event announcements primarily, as well as the rare call for volunteers or announcements of new poly-related services.
We also have a Discuss list in the works which should be launching in the next few days. The discussion list will be open primarily for poly/toronto related discussion but also for a certain amount of off-topic chatter. Announcements will NOT, by and large, be sent to this list, in order to avoid duplication.
We recommend that everyone subscribe to the Announce list; it will be used to announce the formation of the discussion list, and other key events in the local poly community.
PLEASE REPOST this where other poly folks might see it... we've lost our subscriber list so it's unclear if we'll be able to reach everyone who used to read the list.
