Good Food Box

So, our first good food box arrived today.

For $17, we got:
1 bunch of celery
1 cantaloupe
1 romaine lettuce
5 lbs. white potatoes*
3 plum tomatoes
1 bag spinach
1 pint mushrooms*
6 oranges (had one, and they are AMAZING)
1 pint strawberries
1 bag apples (red delicious)*
1 bunch broccoli
2 bunch green onion
1 bunch of bananas

(starred items are grown locally)

Yum! This was DEFINITELY a good idea. Fresh, tasty, cheap fruits and veggies delivered to our building's door.

My coop started a neighbourhood stop. I highly recommend it. The produce is way better than I could get anywhere other than a good farmer's market.

I'm checking it out, I hope there is a Stop near me. Sadly, one reason I think this would be good for me, is simply I'm too lazy to properly buy veggies and such.
