Finally found a clear explanation.

Edit Removed the list of points listed on this website:
http://www.aapsonline.org/vaccines/hpv-statement.php

As [livejournal.com profile] joedecker points out, they are not so great an organization... and definitely not trustworthy medically speaking.

I'm still trying to find information on the issues with the vaccine... I know it must be out there somewhere *reputable*, and I haven't looked that hard yet. I wasn't even looking for it when I found this... I was researching anal HPV.

Well, also, children age 9 and under often ARE sexually active...

*wry grin* your comment arrived literally 2 minutes after I read their about us page and realized that they are not quite what I thought they were. I was looking for similar statements from other organizations when your comment arrived. I'll edit the post now. Thanks for calling me on it! *sigh*

There's significant controversy about that organization, and it's listed as untrustworthy at quackwatch, though I have no idea if that site counts for anything.

As other's have mentioned AAPS are bad people and shouldn't be trusted. I doubt there are any good medical reasons against the vaccine[1]. The American Cancer Society has a document detailing with the vaccine you can find here:

Wow, these are really unconvincing points. It seems to amount to "We could do without it and our organization wouldn't mind. And it's an STD so we shouldn't be protecting children from it."

Many Many things

- there are over 200 strains of the virus... this vaccine blocks 4

- Merck has admitted publicly that A) this thing has not been tested and B) they really need to make the sale financially

- mercury limits have been INCREASED in several major vaccines lately... do you have nay idea what mercury does to neural tissue?

- the people behind this increase, some of whom are major shareholders (possibly even Merck shareholders...?), talk openly about extermination and sterilization programs for the masses
