AAAS conference
Feb. 16th, 2007 12:51 pmI've already had some great networking conversations with people... I was chatting with the woman who runs the science stream at Carleton's journalism program, and ended up talking to someone who used to work for Astronomy as a senior editor. He said he thought I could do better (oh? where are these better jobs?), and also suggested that Astronomy's Editor in Chief, who doesn't have any kind of post-secondary degree, would feel very threatened by my degree from MIT, and that this may have had something to do with me not getting the position. Interesting...
Here's my schedule starting from here on out, for the rest of the conference. This is subject to change, of course.
