Androgen surge

When a woman is about to get her period, her estrogen levels will drop suddenly, creating an androgen surge. This will often manifest as a higher sex drive and extreme irritability.

I can say with a certainty that as of this morning, I'm having the androgen surge of my cycle. I want to do horrible things to/with people... and then I want them to get the fuck out of my way and leave me alone.

Thank goddess for vibes.

In the meantime I think I'll have to spend some quality time with myself, because if I spend time with anyone else, I'm likely to rip them a new one.

Plans for the day:
-hopefully, clean up around the apartment some
-get a day pass and go shopping. I'll be stopping at the lewiscraft that's out of business to pick up some yarn and the Candle Emporium in Yorkville. I might also stop at: St. Lawrence Market, Fluevogs and/or many shoe stores in the Eaton Centre, and the Occult Shop.

Thinking about this, I can't help but wonder how that effect is even more heightened for folks like me who already have an excess of androgen in their system (one of the side effects of PCOS that I have).

Of course, I often wonder if it has any effect on my (seemingly high) sex drive, as it normally is.
