Does anyone remember someone making a post about Zodiac's products for cats being Really Bad News?

I can't remember who made the post, so I can't verify this... but the cat in question was really really ill and had to be taken to the emergency room.

Me, post is here (http://plutopsyche.livejournal.com/486337.html).

What's up? Did it nearly kill another cat?

Thanks so much for the reply. Turns out that, according to one article I found while researching this the other night, all over the counter flea remedies are dangerous. During flea season, one emergency vet said that they would get between 1 and 6 cats per week that were anywhere from a little sick to dying because of the over the counter treatments. Cats DO die from this.

However, apparently the vets can give out medicine that is safe.

Thanks so much for posting this for us. It is really good to know. I have thrown out the rest.

Hecubus seems quite fine but who knows what could have happened.

*big hugs* for caring about my kitty friend to you and your friend.
