I'm not going to Wisconsin.

I suppose I should email them and see what can be done about getting feedback.

Happy birthday to me... (yeah, it's not until Thursday, but still)

I'm sorry to hear it, Danae.

On the plus side, well, this allows you to consolidate what you have locally.

Yeah. I'm beginning to conclude that until I have been here two years, most places won't look at me.

Thanks for the sympathy. I appreciate it. I do have to remember that I have a wonderful life here. Wonderful friends, lovers, apartment, etc.

*hugs*

I'm sorry, hon. I know you really liked the position there, and I'm sure that you would have done a great job.

Thanks. I should think about kittens instead. And how great Elysium looks right now, after all the work we just did on it. Go us!

Oh. Oh dear Danae, I'm so sorry to hear that.

By all means, try to get feedback, because that is always helpful. Though it wouldn't surprise me if it's of the order of "well, we really liked you, but this other person could walk on water...without freezing it first." Oh, and speaking of interview feedback, I'll email you something that might put things in a little better perspective. ;-)

Birthdays can be difficult; I have a very dear friend who often has bad things happen on or near her birthday; I know because I've been partly responsible for a couple of them. :-(

Hugs and warm thoughts.

P.S. That freaky email address I have for you is still correct, yes?

I'm so sorry, dear, hug

I would ask for feedback and let it be their choice if they give it to you or not.

I'm sorry to hear things didn't work out. I know how excited you were about this opportunity. Hope you have a great Birthday.

I'm truly sorry you didn't get this position. I understand that it was something very special to you. Being the unsuccessful job seeker for many moons I very much sympathize with your position.

Just remember that job searching is a combination of luck, skill, and fate. You can do everything right and still not get the job. (Oddly enough you can almost everything wrong and get the job too - I've seen it happen).

Either way don't let the fact that this one didn't happen impede your continued job search. You will get hired.

*HUGS* I know you were quite interested in the job... But there are advantages to staying in TO as well! Such as - it's nearer to montreal!! :-D

I hope I'll get a chance to see you next time we're in TO!

Wow. I'm surprised. I honestly thought you would get the job.

Alas... :( :(

I hope you'll still come back to visit sometime. I enjoyed meeting you (really, even though that phrase sounds so cheap).

*squishes* Don't beat yourself up too much. There will be other positions, better positions, and they'll want and hire you. :D
