OKC does it again!
Aug. 12th, 2006 10:27 pmSo in another example of fascinating Stuff, OKC will now display how other people answered the "improve matches" questions once you've given your own answer (it shows a little bar graph in the right lower corner; I sometimes have to page down to see it).
Some results I found interesting (although most are interesting to some degree)...
~2/3 of respondents would date someone who was pagan (defined in the question as "pagan (nature based religion)"). This question was penned by
ocicat, btw. *grin* I somehow would have expected this number to be lower...
Also, I'm doomed: My love language of choice is words, and only 14 % of respondents express their love in that fashion.
77% say that there is such a thing as having had too many sex partners, 22 % say there isn't, and the remainder abstained. Apparently, slutdom is far less accepted than paganism.
BTW, for those who care, a few weeks back I wiped clean my slate of answered questions and started from scratch, in an effort to update and refresh my profile. I also plan to do an extensive rewrite of my profile at some point, but right now I just don't care enough. But anyway, if our match score has changed, that's why.
Taste of the Danforth rocked. If you like shrimp, drop by the Pan booth (West of Pape, North side) and get a shrimp skewer ($3); they were particularly good. Also near that booth there was a sweets booth that had really cheap cookies (8 chocolate chip cookies for $2) that were very good. If you're allergic to nuts, cookie connection (closer to Broadview than Pape, on the North side) has cookies that are nut free. I found them to be overpriced for normal cookies though. The Dim Sum place (also on the north side) has $1 steamed pork buns (mmm). And partway between Pape and Broadview there is a church having a bake sale that had MASSIVE pieces of really tasty baklava for only $2.
Company was also good.
I have now packed ALL of my books (except for a select few I'm keeping out) and non-essential toiletries/makeup/hairstuff, and some of my files, knicknacks, electronics, and DVD cases, with the help of
yaksman and
msseven. Still a lot more to pack, but progress is definitely occurring. Won't be long before I'm down to the things I can't pack until I'm ready to move. Wee.
I am doing research for an erotica contest. Woe is me, it is a hard job to do!
Also, I just finally watched Clerks the cartoon. Amusing, but not even remotely as good as the movie. Not even close.
Well, enough messing around on OKC. It's time to get back to that, um, research. ;)

Date: 2006-08-13 07:15 am (UTC)You know I was just thinking a few days ago about the various social networking sites I play with and what encourages repeat visits. Orkut just doesn't inspire playing. OK-C does. Good for them.
My OK-C collage (http://users.livejournal.com/_duncan/26251.html) still works.

Date: 2006-08-14 01:42 am (UTC)Ah, sweet Danaeris (C12H22011), keep in mind that this is just the first choice of language; I'm sure many, like me, are fluent in multiple languages. Alas, you are so far away I rarely have the opportunity to touch you physically; instead I would caress your soul with words of affection and desire....

Well, this one may be open to some interpretation, particularly since there's no measure of how many is too many. <pedantic level="extreme">But interpreting this question strictly, it seems that the correct answer almost has to be yes, in the same way that one can have too much water or too much oxygen. If one has so many sex partners that one is spending all one's time having sex, that's probably too many....

That would explain it. I noticed that suddenly our match scores seemed much lower, then I saw that you had very few questions answered so that our intersection was small. The scores are starting to move back up to values that match my expectation.

Ooh, that does sound like a lot of work! Please tell us more and keep us updated as to your progress so that we can properly sympathetic. :-D
