9ICB dinner/dance

So, I originally wasn't going to go to the 9ICB dinner and dance, but I'm thinking again about it. Why?

I've heard great things about the Wet Spots, and they are performing.

Who is going to the dinner/dance? Who isn't? Is the performance during the dinner, or the dance?

FYI, if you can't make it to the conference, the dance and dinner can be purchased a la carte by non-conference attendees. Dance + Dinner is $30, and just the dance is $10.

Hmm. *thinking face* I couldn't go before because I was working, but now I have a day off. Might be able to!

AND ... Weird thing of all the weird things ... I just flipped through the workshop schedule trying to see what (if anything) I could go to ... And found the name of someone I work with. I was like, NOOO. Then read the bio, and it looks like her! :-? Trying to figure out if I'm right or not, now, and very curious. Might have to go just to see what it is her research is about.

Keep in mind, registration for a single day is $50, and that does NOT include the dinner/dance, which are separate.

I wouldn't mind going to the dance....dinner not so much (cost mostly). I also have heard only good things 'bout the Wet Spots.

I wasn't planning to go to the dinner/dance but after checking out the Wet Spots web site I decided I MUST see them! My traveling companion agreed so we both have tickets to that now. The performance is during the dinner, which is why (I think) there is a separate (cheaper) admission for people who just want to go to the dance.

We aren't planning on going to the dinner. Blue's food restrictions make dinners like this a bit difficult. Might consider going to the dance, though...
