I am really really really tired.
I don't know why.
Last night I said so to
knotty_mark and he laughed at me for being surprised at being tired after 2 hours of play. But the fact of the matter was that I had not been playing long enough to be as exhausted as I was.
Today I feel about the same. I'm not sure that I'll be making it to swing at this rate...
Factors:
(1) Back on the diet again; today is day 2. Am I overdoing it? Dunno, I don't have measuring/weighing devices at work so I can't monitor my caloric intake to make sure I get enough calories, so I just have to trust myself...
(2) Caffeine withdrawal... I'd been having weird stomach aches, so I stopped having soda. This is the second day caffeine free. Yesterday I had a single caffeine free soda, and today, none so far.
(3) I've been going like mad getting stuff done. In the past week or so I have coordinated the creation of writing, skating, poly social business cards, poly website post cards, three flyers advertising the Ad Astra events and one other thing.
rbowspryte did 95% of the work, though, and then I placed the order on vista print. Things at work are way busier than usual too: we're about to launch a new calendar and job listing function for which I am basically the design coordinator since they are my babies, and with the outgoing CEO, more and more work is on our heads. I have the tech blog every morning, and I handed in an article for XTRA Monday, and I have some other things in the works that I've been neglecting. Meanwhile I went through all of the receipts I'd collected since moving and categorized them and added up spending in various categories, went over all of my bills, went shopping and had dates...
You can only go at this hectic a rate/pitch for so long before your body can't take it anymore. Especially after being exhausted by two heavy periods in 4 weeks.
Between now and the beginning of the con, I have to write postdated checks for rent for my landlady and drop them off, pack my stuff for the con, go shopping for the con, stop at CAYA to pick up my replacement Sinnflut, fill out and fax contract and timesheet for blogging, print out flyers for the convention, get donation baskets, get food for the con, write and print out signs for the suite, and do my day job. But what I really want is to go to sleep.

Date: 2006-03-30 10:27 pm (UTC)And you wonder why you're tired?! Milady, give your head a shake. And maybe have a weensy bit of caffeine or a couple of simple carb calories til your body recovers a bit. You're rolling "staggered."
