danaerisLast night was good... got home. Tried to nap with varying levels of success. Got food. Watched Buffy. Got visited by Squee to look at stereo equipment. Unseelie went off to LoveRanger's place to pick up sling, chains, and bean bags for the party. Kat and I cleaned and decorated. I folded my laundry, copied a few more mp3s from Unseelie's extremely damaged cd, and finished putting my room in some semblance of order.
By that time, it was bed time already. Shit. I needed a shower, and to be in bed on time, and some quiet time with Unseelie. But we'd gotten stuff done, and decorating the house with Kat was fun.
So instead of showering, we got into bed, but then cuddled, 'stuff', and talked until 12:40 or so. The conversation was important. But now I'm sleep dep'd. Still. In the last three nights, I've gotten a total of 19 hours of sleep. That's verging on how much I should have gotten in TWO nights. Shit.
And to make things worse, Octal's party is tonight, and I REALLY want to go, but I'm VERY tired and there's more work to do for the party. I basically have two choices, assuming I get enough work done today.
(1) go to the party, and take my carpool to work tomorrow mornign. This means getting to work sometime between 9:45 and 12:45. Make less money than usual for this reason, when I'm already only working 4 days/week.
(2) skipping the party and taking caltrain and getting enough sleep. This means getting up at 6:30 AM again. :(
There's a third option which is highly unlikely---find someone who is going to the party who lives near work and can let me crash at their place that night and then drive me to work in the morning.
