Toronto driver wanted for Arisia: Sweetening the pot

WANTED
-Experienced driver (preferably with car) to go to Arisia (SF&F con in Boston)
-I can share in driving, but need someone else to be the primary driver, esp. with snow or rain
-I and possibly one non-driving passenger would cover gas
-If I know you and am comfortable with you, you'll get a free spot in my bed (for sleeping, silly!); otherwise, on the floor

COST TO YOU:
Arisia registration ($40 USD)
Wear and tear on your car
Time spent driving

PROPOSED SCHEDULE:
Leave Friday Jan. 13, in the morning
Return trip beginning Monday, Jan. 16, in the morning

It's not looking terribly likely... But, since I already paid for the hotel room, at this point I really should go. And, I think I will enjoy myself assuming the current funk passes. Normally I view Arisia as THE highlight of my year, event wise. So, I need to make this happen.

I don't think we've ever met, but we have some friends in common (metalana and iclysdale) and I completed your okcupid quiz. I thought I would let you know about something that struck me as a bit odd regarding LJ's search result treatment of your Torontopoly community.

Although it lists "polyamory" as an interest, it does not show up in the results when I click on "polyamory" as an interest. Interestingly, Torontopoly does show up when I click on "poly". This may affect the number of people who find your community, depending on how they chose to look for it.
