Oct. 9th, 2002 09:22 amCan anyone recommend a place to get fangs and ear prosthesis?
I'm looking for top and bottom fangs, pointy elf ears, and elongated earlobes.
And while I'm at it, claws.

Date: 2002-10-09 02:15 pm (UTC)A friend mentioned that he had some he had picked up at an SF Opera auction/prop sale. He said he would be fine to loan them to a friend of mine.

Date: 2002-10-09 04:37 pm (UTC)the only better fangs i knew of were made by a guy based in Santa Barbara {Richard? hunh.. can't remember.} who would make a mold of your mouth and would build a custom dental appliance on the mold for you. they were made in dental quality enamel and he did some really neet teeth: could do a double set for werewolf, alien teeth, all kinds of stuff.

Date: 2002-10-10 10:43 am (UTC)he makes fangs and claws. I am super-pleased with the set of fangs he made for me. They cost $65 but that was 4+ years ago and they are still in super condition. I got a second set made by another guy for $35 and they aren't worth $10 - they're crap. I thought Dnash had stopped making fangs a couple of years ago but the website was updated this year so he seems to be doing it again. Unfortunately he is in southern CT and a little expensive, but like I said TOTALLY worth it. I fooled my dental hygenist with those caps.

I work at a halloween store.
And I have a 30% discount, and we have all kinds of fake theeth/fangs. Like the scarecrow ones somebody was sugesting, and all kinds. Even silly ones that are silver plated. All for about 20 and under.
Email me if interested,
I got Da hooook-ups yo!
