I thought I'd shouted my throat a little raw talking over the music Saturday night.
I thought taking a nap had dehydrated me and given me the worst migraine I'd ever had.
But this morning I awoke with no headache, lowered body temperature (ranging from 3 to 6 degrees below human average), and waves of nausea which clearly have nothing to do with the headache I don't have. I'm also coughing occasionally, and my throat is sore. The only logical conclusion? I'm sick, and so I've stayed home.
The nausea mostly kicks in when I try to eat or drink, but I'm not tempting fate with dehydration, so nauseated I will be.
It's not terrible, but an hour drive, and being stuck in Toronto if it got worse? No thanks. I don't want to throw up in
pyat's car, and I don't want to be stuck for an eight hour day in an office while nauseous and ill. So I'll work from home.
