Question for knitters
Apr. 1st, 2005 02:38 pmI have some old yarn. It is not in a ball, nor is it just wound in a circle... It's sort of one of those ovoid shapes... I'm not sure what that shape is called, but I don't think it is a hank.
Anyway, does that need to be wound into a ball before I can start knitting with it, or can I go to town?
I have one more project I'm going to make from this book, and then I will be ready to move on to greater or more complicated things. woohoo, or something! I'm not sure what I'll make next, but I'm sure I'll come up with something interesting. I'm thinking of designing a knit ipod case eventually, but obviously not yet.
Anyone have any recommendations on books or websites for patterns/project ideas for a beginner/intermediate knitter?

Date: 2005-04-01 08:55 pm (UTC)I like www.knitty.com, and I design easy stuff too(hey, you know that, you've seen 'em). If you want something simple I might be able to write it up. Woot woot! Good luck! I'm glad you've found work!
