Target

Is there anyone who can give me a ride to Target sometime in the next week or so?

Alternatively, are there any targets that are easily BART accessible?

There's a Target right near (as in, cross the parking lot, cross the street, cross the parking lot -- visual range) El Cerrito Del Norte.

Well, there's a relatively convenient one off 280 in Daly City. If someone with a car in the city wanted to go there or had some time to spare, it would be a really short trip. But as it is I suspect I will wind up BART-ing to El Cerrito, which is annoying, since for now all I want to do is confirm that a certain bedspread is purple and not blue with pink lining.

OK, so if it is purple I might decide to buy it. But if it isn't it will be this long BART trip for nothing. :(

ooo. And so, I hear, is the black angus, where I am going tomorrow.

A plan is forming in my mind. Would you find it weird if I showed up at your dinner with a comforter in tow (since I'd be worried about the Target being closed if I waited until after dinner).

Target seems pretty good at buying lots close to BART stations. The one in Walnut Creek, on the site of the old Gemco store, is also just across one intersection from the BART parking lot.

BART and Target. Amtrak bus service and Carl's Jr. Taco Bell mild sauce and ... nothing. :)

Taco Bell mild sauce

I went to a Taco Bell for the first time in years and was amused to see that their sauce packets now say "be honest - how many of these are in your glove compartment?" on them.

But, more to the point, I really appreciate how public-transit-able Target is. Plus, I think the Berkeley one is on the bike path, too.
