My hair seemed decidedly less itchy over the weekend, so hopefully the shampoo did its job.

I have not, however, had anyone pick through my hair and remove eggs. I know its a gross task, but I need someone who is willing to do a thorough job at this. Anyone willing?

Worst case, I'll do a second application of the shampoo in ten days. Supposedly that kills the new batch of lice before they can lay any new eggs.

I came across a site that recommended a mixture of Tea Tree Oil and your regular conditioner. I'll see if I can find the URL.

I'm so sorry you're having to go through this.

Honestly, if I didn't have to worry about possibly transmitting it to the girls, I'd do the job for you, but I want to be extra careful since they're kids.

Good luck!

Do the second application in a week, not 10 days. And do a third a week after that. One thing that worked for me was to rotate lice shampoos. Many lice around here are resistant to the standard stuff (Rid, Nix, etc).

I am going to try to contact you off-line, because I have a lot of stuff to share with you.
