Update on Verizon situation
Apr. 6th, 2004 04:42 pmI'm taking a break from working because I feel like shit -- another emotionally down day.
Verizon called me back while I was waiting for the auditions to get started yesterday and kissed my ass appropriately.
According to them, while it is true that in transferring his account to Verizon, only he had to sign up for some kind of account, it is also true that when I changed my plan from a normal plan to a "family share" plan, I changed my plan and thus there was an automatic renewal. She stressed that that was what would normally happen.
However, in this case they were going to remove the contract from my number (but not his). It is unclear to me if they did that because they fucked up and they knew it, or if they did it because they're scared of me. Either way, I'm happy with the results and have two months to save up for my new phone (on whatever service I end up with!)
