So I should start putting more confidence in the 511 trip planner. If I hadn't checked it as duncan suggested (although I was thinking about doing so anyway), I would have taken BART, which is the third most efficient route.

The most efficient is to walk two blocks to Mission and 7th and catch a bus at 5:35 a.m. It'll get me to SFO at 5:53 a.m., and involves less walking than BART, and gets me directly in front of the terminal, as opposed to BART from which I'd need a shuttle.

As far as getting to the hotel, turns out the hotel has a shuttle that costs only $8.50 and leaves at 20 and 50 minutes after every hour. Seems like the best option.

And, they confirmed that I can drop my luggage off with them until check in, and leave it with them after check out.

w00t!

Nipples, for the first time, seem to both be healedish. Neither hurts during cleaning. They still ache. Oh, and I discovered that shaving with pierced, sensitive nipples w/ rings with my hair down is a bad idea... some of my heavy wet hair got caught in my right ring, and when I flipped it over my shoulder, it sure did hurt! Not nearly as much as I might have expected, I must admit.

Anyone know of nifty things I should do while I'm in the Seattle area?

Check with the airport to see if getting to the airport with an hour to spare is enough time. I don't know how SFO is, but at Oakland there are some days and times that an hour wouldn't be enough to get you through security in time for your flight.

Re: things to do in Seattle.

When I was there, there was a really great club called Mercury Rising, but it was like Bound -- you needed an invite to go. If you know anyone in the scene up there, ask 'em about it. And some fairly good bands were known to play at the Phoenix from time to time. I saw Black Tape for a Blue Girl, with Faith and Disease opening. Very good show, that one... On the downside, smoking is legal indoors there. :-P

And if you haven't been up the Space Needle, it's kind of the standard touristy thing to do. But nifty. Esp if the day is clear enough to see Mt Rainier (which really ought to be pronounced the way it's spelled, given the location *g*).
