The bad luck streak started on the 18th of September, and it is now the 19th of October. So Universe? You can stop raining bad luck on me and mine now. Really. It's ok. The taste got old about a week or two in.

I'm hoping that you made that bad shit happen yesterday because you wanted to go out with a bang and not because there's more in store. We're not amused, but if that was the end of it, we're ready to look forward rather than back and let the matter drop. We hope you can do the same.

All the filters except Dojo (for the moment) sound good to be on. I like your careful seperation of those, and bow to your organisational superiority! :)

The only relevant opt-in filter I use with any regularity is a poly/sex/bdsm/etc one. I don't tend to post to it frequently right now, but that may change soon.

actually, lately a lot of my metaprogramming work has been posted in dojo... the requirement for friendship for dojo was put in place because I realized that people with a neutral or slightly negative opinion of me and an inadequate grip on how insane most people are (ie. how many weird irrational issues most have, or most I know have anyway) were sliding into having extremely negative opinions based on the venting and discussion of issues I'd post to my general friends list. So I started only posting that stuff to dojo, where everyone already has a positive impression of me and doesn't view venting as childish temper tantrums.

Given who you are, I would assume that wouldn't be a problem for you.

Dojo has a mixture of posts about the details of the drama in my life, but also about the meditation I do to fix that. Whereas metaprogramming handles the really serious issues and serious 'journeys' I take to deal with issues buried deeper, ones that are too sensitive to bare in dojo for legal or psychological reasons.

Hm. (thinking out loud) Perhaps I'll just start cross-posting to both dojo and metaprogramming when I talk about meditationy things. You'd just be the only person on metaprogramming who isn't also on dojo, so you might miss out on context sometimes.

Damn, you're polite. I generally just center and ground-sky, let all of my emotion come together and express to the universe in as succinct a fashion as possible why it should stop being a bitch and what the hell it should be doing. Which is pretty presumptuous of me, but I figure it's not going to pay attention to me unless I'm pretty fuckin' loud about it. It's been a while since I've had to do this, thankfully. I get the vague impression that I'm oddly inimidating or something. . .

I also have vague suspicions that Eris is effing with me right now b/c someone who will remain nameless decided to flip Her off in my presence and I'm getting blamed even though I made said person stop. I would call "unfair" but...well, she's chaos, so that doesn't quite fit.

*wryg* I actually don't know what I'm doing, I just make it up as I go along. Works pretty well tho, I think I managed to get rid of a nasty somethingorother that's been bothering a friend of mine for quite some time. I've got some ideas if it comes back, but it probably knows better.
