There's a nifty video they made of the Arts at MIT (in Real Audio format).

It can be found at http://web.mit.edu/arts/, and is about 8 minutes long.

I'm in the background around 2:38-2:58 ballroom dancing in a red dress.

I recognized a lot of faces and groups; squares, the symphony, the chorollaries, the jewish a capella group, RKB, etc. Go check it out if you think you might be on it! At least some of the video for it is from 2000/2001.

It's also just a nifty video for any incoming frosh to glance at, or even for folk who believe there are no arts at MIT or that engineers and scientists don't do arts (or are bad at them).

Yup! We even know each other! I lived at French House my freshman year and hung around with Adora and Tuan a lot. Are you in Singapore nowadays?

Ah. :) I was trying, unsuccessfully, to figure out from your journal who you were...

I'm now in SoCal... I try to go back to Singapore maybe once a year.

Oh, nifty! I'm in San Fran, as my info shows. You know, tphan is in L.A. starting his own company. I see him on IM occasionally.

Figuring me out from my userinfo would be hard, since it screams "alternative lifestyle freak", yet back when you knew me best I was married monogamously to a devout catholic, and even after I left him, I didn't really share my lifestyle choices with the team.

I have a very strong suspicion that I now know who you are. :)

Heh. Nifty. I liked the gamelan music in the opening. (You can't take an ethnomusicology course, anywhere, without being inundated with gamelan stuff.)

I'd try to imagine you without the aura of GeekFreak, but I think it would break my brain.
