GRE score reporting
Oct. 21st, 2008 01:06 amBlah. So, I did the GREs long ago -- so long ago that I'm pretty sure they aren't valid. Most of my schools want their apps by December 15; one is asking for them by December 1.
I remember that when I took the SATs, I could take it several times if I needed or wanted to, and schools would only see my top scores. Is that an option with the GRE?
And, anyone have any idea how strict schools are about the date on which they receive the official score, versus an unofficial score I give them?
My Masters program is evil, in that they scheduled our heaviest term when we're all applying to doctoral programs. Granted, only a handful of us are applying, but the timing is still frustrating. I'm just trying not to feel overwhelmed.
